About Jeanine
Jeanine comes from a service-oriented family; her father served in the NYC Fire Department for three decades, and her FDNY brother worked at Ground Zero. She is passionate about helping those who have dedicated their lives to helping others, because she knows they often sacrifice their own self care. A seasoned healthcare professional, she began her career as a dental hygienist and later earned a BS in Biology. For over 30 years, she practiced yoga, teaching for the last 20 years, focusing on Mental Health.
Jeanine trained at YogaWorks in 2006 and became a certified yoga therapist from Loyola Marymount University in 2014. She studied trauma-informed yoga and I~Rest techniques, and provided yoga therapy at Orange County Hospitals and Camp Pendleton Navy Hospital, assisting military members with substance abuse, PTSD, TBI, anxiety, and depression at the Holistic Health Clinic.
Her specialties include Therapeutic Gentle Yoga, Restorative, and Yoga Basics. She works on nervous system regulation, ensuring an empowered and transformative experience for her students, particularly those from the first responder community. By creating a safe environment, she fosters connection and personal transformation . Her unique approach addresses specific physical and mental disease patterns, helping clients incorporate wellness into their lives, especially those new to yoga and those dealing with work-related stress. The comprehensive tools she provides aid in overcoming cravings, anxiety, insomnia, depression, chronic pain, and trauma.
